    Eating disorders are complex psychiatric illnesses that require specific attunement and knowledge, especially in the sports environment. This presentation will provide an overview of best practices on how to identify and treat athletes with disordered eating and unbalanced exercise. Challenges and recommendations will be discussed, along with how to coordinate care with the athlete’s family during treatment.
