Cultural Competency Training

To further demonstrate this commitment, Cigna Healthcare has created cultural competency training courses specifically for providers and office staff participating in our network.

Available Courses

The Delivering Cultural Responsive Care: Community Curriculum covers community characteristics, health care patterns, as well as cultural values, beliefs, and behaviors using a story telling approach.

  • If you are a Cigna Collaborative Accountable Care (CAC) participating provider, please use code: CAC-2017
  • If you are a Cigna-HealthSpring contracted provider use code: HealthSpring-2017

Your results are confidential and you will receive a customized list of professional development resources based on your strengths and opportunities.

Cultural Competency Training - Delegated Entities

Because health care is a cultural construct based on beliefs about the nature of disease and the human body, cultural issues are central to the delivery of health services.
